May the Course Be With You 5K

Saturday, May 3, 9 AM Start

MWR Sports Complex, NSA Bethesda

Check-in for the 5k will begin at 8:15 AM and the race will start at 9:00 AM.

PARKING - We ask that you park in the USUHS garage or Z-Lot and walk from there as your warm-up.  Parking at the field will be for Wounded Warriors and Volunteers. 

PATRONS WHO PRE-REGISTERED – Check-In and packet pick-up will begin at 08:15 AM and end at 8:45 AM. We will begin the race promptly at 9:00 AM. We need each participant to sign an event waiver. Copies of waiver will be available at the event. We will need one waiver per participant (this includes children).

SAME-DAY REGISTRATION – There will be race day registration available on Saturday. So, it’s not too late for your friends and family to join you!

SAFETY - We want everyone to have an exciting and fun race but please remember safety first.  Although we have numerous road guards and lead/follow vehicles, we cannot control every vehicle out on the course.  Please be mindful of vehicles as the road will not be closed to traffic. Make sure to be aware of your surroundings and always yield to vehicles.  Be careful of loose gravel.  If you are feeling ill at any point, please find a volunteer or a staff member.    

FOOD – There will be light snacks provided post-race.

WEATHER - We are expecting beautiful weather Saturday morning! That being said, PLEASE ensure you bring sunblock, bug spray, etc. and make sure to stay hydrated. If in the unforeseen event that it rains, we will still run!
